Personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) is processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly online presence, including its content and the services offered therein.

According to Article 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”), “processing” means any operation or set of operations performed upon personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we decide alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. Furthermore, we inform you below about the components we use for optimization purposes and to improve usage quality, insofar as third parties process data under their responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

Regarding the data processing described below, users and data subjects have the right:

  1. To confirmation whether data concerning them is processed, information about the data processed, further details about the data processing, and copies of the data (cf. Art. 15 GDPR).
  2. To rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (cf. Art. 16 GDPR).
  3. To immediate deletion of their data (cf. Art. 17 GDPR) or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary per Art. 17(3) GDPR, to restriction of processing (cf. Art. 18 GDPR).
  4. To receive data concerning them and provided by them and to transmit this data to other providers/controllers (cf. Art. 20 GDPR).
  5. To lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if they believe the processing of their data violates GDPR (cf. Art. 77 GDPR).

Additionally, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed about any correction or deletion of data or restriction of processing resulting from Articles 16, 17(1), and 18 GDPR. This obligation does not apply if the notification is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Users have the right to be informed about these recipients.

Users and data subjects also have the right, under Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided the data is processed under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for direct advertising purposes is permissible.


III. Information on data processing

Your data processed while using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage ceases, the deletion of the data does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations, and no other information is provided regarding individual processing methods.


1. Subscription to posts

If you publish posts on our website, we offer you the option to subscribe to follow-up posts by others. To inform you of these follow-up posts via email, we process your email address.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent to this subscription at any time for the future according to Art. 7(3) GDPR by informing us or clicking the unsubscribe link provided in each email.


2. Contact requests

If you contact us via the contact form or email, the data you provide will be processed to handle your inquiry. The provision of this data is necessary for processing and answering your request. Without it, we cannot respond to your inquiry, or only to a limited extent.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully resolved, provided there are no statutory retention requirements (e.g., in the case of a subsequent contract).


3. Newsletter

If you sign up for our free newsletter, the data requested during registration (your email address and, optionally, your name and address) will be transmitted to us. Additionally, we store the IP address of your internet connection and the date and time of your registration. During the registration process, we will obtain your consent to send the newsletter, specify its content, and refer you to this privacy policy.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent to the newsletter at any time for the future according to Art. 7(3) GDPR by informing us or clicking the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.


4. User contributions, comments, and reviews

We offer you the opportunity to post questions, opinions, or reviews on our website (referred to as “contributions”). If you use this option, we process and publish your contribution, the date and time of submission, and any pseudonym you may use.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future according to Art. 7(3) GDPR.

We also process your IP address and email address. The IP address is processed due to our legitimate interest in taking action or supporting action if your contribution infringes on third-party rights or is otherwise unlawful. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, with our legitimate interest being legal protection.


5. Social Media Platforms

We maintain an online presence on various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube to communicate with customers and promote our services.
